. It is intended to be the sequel to 2010's Iron Man 2

It will be the first major release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since The Avengers

is set to direct a screenplay. Robert Downey , Jr. reprises his orle as Tony Stark, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Don Cheadle as James Rhodes.
